User Agreement
Version v1.0 · Effective: 2026-07-22 · Last updated: 2026-07-22
This User Agreement (this "Agreement") is a binding agreement between you and the Rivo API team ("we", "us") governing your use of the Rivo API platform — including the website, the console, and the API relay service (the "Service"). By registering an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Description of the Service
The Service is an AI large-model API aggregation and relay platform: we connect to multiple upstream model providers through a unified interface and provide supporting features such as API key management, usage statistics, and billing. Model calls you make through the Service are forwarded by us to the corresponding upstream provider for processing.
2. Account Registration and Security
You must register with a real, valid email address, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and API keys. An API key is equivalent to call authorization for your account: all usage and corresponding charges arising from poorly kept, leaked, or shared keys are borne by you. If you discover unauthorized use of your account or keys, reset the keys immediately and contact us.
3. Top-Ups and Billing
The Service operates on a prepaid model: you top up your account to obtain a balance, and actual usage is metered — charges are deducted from your balance based on each model’s published pricing, by token usage or per call.
Model prices are as published on the pricing page. We may adjust prices in response to upstream cost changes; adjusted prices apply to calls made after the adjustment takes effect.
Your account balance may only be used to pay for the Service. It does not accrue interest and does not constitute a deposit or any other financial product.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree that you will:
- not use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations, including but not limited to generating illegal content, infringing the rights of others, or engaging in fraud;
- not abuse or attack the Service, including but not limited to circumventing rate limits, probing or exploiting vulnerabilities, mass-registering accounts, or performing unauthorized scraping or load testing against the platform;
- comply with the usage policies and content guidelines of each upstream model provider whose models you call.
If you breach the above, we may, depending on severity, throttle, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service.
5. Service Availability
We provide the Service on a best-effort basis and continuously improve routing and failover capabilities, but we do not promise 100% availability or any specific SLA.
The Service depends on the interfaces of upstream model providers. We are not liable for interruptions or degraded quality caused by upstream fluctuations, rate limiting, outages, model retirements, or policy changes, though we will make reasonable efforts to fail over and recover. We will endeavor to give advance notice of planned maintenance.
6. Refunds
If you stop using the Service and wish to have your balance refunded, contact support via [email protected] or a console ticket. Refunds are handled by negotiation based on the unconsumed balance in your account. Consumed amounts are non-refundable, and credit obtained through promotions or grants (rather than payment) is not eligible for refund.
7. Intellectual Property
The platform software, interface design, documentation, and "Rivo API" marks are owned by us or the respective rights holders and may not be copied, modified, or used outside the scope of this Agreement without permission.
You retain your rights in the input content you submit; ownership of and restrictions on model output are governed by the terms of the relevant upstream provider. You grant us a license to process such content to the extent necessary to provide and maintain the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
In any event, our aggregate liability for all claims under this Agreement is capped at the total fees you have actually paid for the Service.
9. Account Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account closure at any time; please settle your balance through the process in Section 6 first.
If you materially breach this Agreement (including the acceptable-use terms in Section 4), we may suspend or terminate the Service to you. Whether the balance of an account terminated for violations is refunded will be determined by negotiation, taking into account the severity of the violation and the losses caused.
10. Changes to This Agreement
We may revise this Agreement from time to time. Revised versions will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date; material changes will additionally be announced prominently on the site. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
11. Contact
If you have any questions about this Agreement, please contact the Rivo API team at [email protected].
